We’re proud to announce that Maguire Legal is now an official partner of the Fair Work Commission’s Workplace Advice Service (WAS), an initiative that connects eligible employees and small business employers with free, independent legal advice on employment law matters.
Through this partnership, our team will be providing pro bono legal support in cases involving:
- Unfair Dismissal
- General Protections
- Workplace Bullying
- Sexual Harassment at Work
The Workplace Advice Service is designed to help people navigate the Commission’s processes with clarity and confidence — ensuring access to justice and fair workplace outcomes for all Australians.
Who can access the service?
The service is available to:
- Employees who are not represented by a lawyer or union; and
- Small business employers (with fewer than 15 employees) who do not have in-house HR, legal, or industrial relations support.
If eligible, the Fair Work Commission will connect you with one of the participating legal partners, including Maguire Legal, for a one-hour advice session, either by phone or in person.
Our Commitment
At Maguire Legal, we believe that fairness at work starts with access to sound legal advice. We’re honoured to contribute our time and expertise to support this vital national initiative alongside the Fair Work Commission.
